David Lawler, 33, has been found guilty at Bradford Crown Court today of murdering Bradford grandfather Clement 'Butch' Desmier. Lawler has also been found guilty of intimidating a witness. His co-defendant, Nathan Jefferson, 20, pleaded guilty to murder at an earlier hearing.

Mohammed Rafiq, a factory owner who employed large numbers of Hungarians as a "slave workforce" in his multi-million pound bed manufacturing business has today been sentenced to 27 months' imprisonment for conspiracy to traffic.
